The Great Bulldog Reading Adventure

Dates: May 25–July 24

Instructions & Requirements

  • Goal: Read 500 minutes this summer.

  • Book Selection: You choose the books!

  • Logging: Log reading on your elementary school’s Beanstack page.

    • A quick link is available on the NGMS website on the Media Center page.

  • Deadline: Reading must happen during the summer months and be logged BEFORE you return to school.

    • The challenge closes July 24th.

  • Troubleshooting: If you miss the challenge window or have trouble with Beanstack, you can download a printable reading log on the NGMS website instead.

EL&SR @ Home, formerly known as Play 2 Learn @ Home, is a program for young children— ages birth to 5— offered at all elementary schools in Gwinnett County Public Schools. Children and parents, and other adults in the family learn TOGETHER through engaging lesson plans in a high-quality preschool environment for 90 minutes each week during the school year.
